Partners

Industry partnerships are essential to our mission, connecting students with real-world experience, mentorship, and the tools they need to lead tomorrow's innovations.

Why Partners Matter

At ASD, we believe that authentic STEM education extends beyond the classroom. Industry partners are essential to our mission, bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice. Through internships, mentorships, guest lectures, facility tours, and resource sharing, our partners provide students with invaluable exposure to how science and technology shape the world around us.

These partnerships benefit everyone involved. Students gain hands-on experience, professional networks, and clarity about potential career paths. Our partners connect with motivated, skilled young people who bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to their organizations. And our community strengthens as local businesses, educational institutions, and organizations invest in developing New Hampshire’s next generation of leaders in science and technology.

How Partners Support ASD

Our community partners contribute in countless meaningful ways:

Professional Internships: Students complete 100+ hour internships at partner organizations, gaining real-world experience in their fields of interest and applying classroom knowledge to authentic challenges.

Mentorship & Expertise: Industry professionals serve as mentors for student research projects, share their specialized knowledge through guest lectures, and provide guidance on capstone projects.

Facilities & Resources: Partners provide access to specialized equipment, laboratories, and facilities that enhance our students’s learning experiences beyond what a traditional school setting can offer.

Career Pathways: Through job shadowing, facility tours, and networking opportunities, partners help students understand diverse career possibilities and what it takes to succeed in different fields.

Curriculum Development: Partners collaborate with our faculty to ensure our curriculum remains current, relevant, and aligned with industry needs and emerging technologies.

Financial Support: Donations of funding, goods, and services help us provide cutting-edge resources and opportunities for all students.

Our partners bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice.
