Architecture and Engineering disciplines have shaped much of our modern world, from the
structures we live in, to the transportation we use. Specific areas of study at ASD may
include:
- Applied engineering
- Mechanical design
- Introduction to electronics and logic circuits
- Nanotechnology
The goal of this focus area is to prepare students for college work in Architecture or
various engineering disciplines.

For 2007-2008 ASD offered the following instruction and activities in this area:
- 6 week Engineering course
- 6 week Introduction to Architecture course taught by members of the
American Institute of Architects New Hampshire Chapter
- Architectural Walking Tour of Downtown Nashua
